Dallas- June Market

I just returned from a busy weekend at Dallas Market Center for the June Gift and Home Market. My booth was painted black a few weeks before and I had not seen it. There is a photo of a group display in the atrium, and a view leaning over the balconey.

Surtex show came and went in a flash. These photos are from Stella. I shot a roll or two of film that I am waiting for them to return from the developer. Click on the photos and they will enlarge. We ate at Bubba Gumps one night. If you haven't been to one, if you want someone to stop and wait on you, then you have to flip the sign to "Stop Forrest Stop" . . . . LOL!

This is a new painting on Yupo paper. It is varnished with an acrylic varnish. It is donated to Gift for Life for their NY fundraising gala- www.giftforlife.org

Daisy needs a home!

This is a photo of Daisy who needs a home. She is posted in an ad at www.Petfinder.com . We think she is a bit over a year old.

Daisy was brought in 3 weeks ago with a vaginal prolapse. She was in heat. We fixed the prolapse, spayed her- her "supposedly owners" never came to pick her up. She had been abandoned. She was vaccinated, dewormed, and tested for heartworms (neg).

She's very shy around people she doesn't know- it took her about a week and a half to warm up to me- now she wants to play and sit in my lap! We suspect she hasn't been around many people in the past. We also suspect that she came from a local dog hoarder that keeps dogs in pens hidden from the authorities.

Booth at Hemisphere

Oh My!- It would appear that I have been neglecting my blog!

March flew by. This past weekend I was in Dallas for the Spring Home Market. My Hemisphere booth moved and I had to go and rearrange furniture and things for it. Here's a photo. Before the June Market, I hope to have the walls painted black. I think that'll make the paintings stand out and shine.

Next Market in Dallas is June 23rd-25th.

6 weeks old American Bulldog puppies.

2 new mini paintings

here's 2 new pear paintings, they look very yellow as they are new egg tempera with a few extra coats of egg binder. The yellow color from the yolk will bleach out over time, as the egg cures -- hopefully :)

New large polaroid transfer giclees

Hello- I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays with friends and family. I am working on some large giclee images for Hemisphere Accent Gallery. The big market show is Jan 18-25th.
