This was too timely to not share. I had not heard of this organization before.
They collect hair clippings from hair salons, pet groomers, etc. to help clean up oil spills. How cool is that?
I had to share in case you were unaware of them too.

I saw this the other day through another Etsyian (I think). I thought it was so cool and amazing! I've donated my hair to Locks of Love a few times now, and it's getting really long again. We also have a Shih Tzu/Lhasa mix and a Persian. We're overflowing in the hair department;-) This would be an excellent way to help. Thanks for spreading the word!
