So I decided to look around for something to inspire me and do a work in progress. Maybe two as I want to paint something with casein and/or gouache. Starting on a black background. Yeah that's right, a black background.
I am fascinated about working from dark to light after seeing Karin's Jurick's painting videos. Here's her blog, love her work.
Here's an image that I found of an amaryllis in the Wet Canvas image library. It's very dramatic. It'll be plain old watercolor on textured clayboard.
