I want to sing the Thanksgiving Turkey Song.

Turkey for me. . . . Turkey for you. . . . .
Looks like this guy has been abandoned here at the hospital.   And will be put up for adoption.  He looks like an older poodle in the video, but is only 9 months or so.   He came in last Monday night.

Red flag number 1-  11 pm at night.  With an knotted up poodle with a haircut emergency.
Red Flag Number 2-  Shows up  with no money to pay his deposit.
Red Flag number 3- No one picks him up on Tuesday.
Red Flag number 4-  The check written for his deposit bounces.
Red Flag number 5- No one returns phone calls on Thursday.
Red Flag number 6- Someone calls on Friday. The babydaddy's daddy is going to pick him up.
Red Flag number 6.5- The babydaddy's daddy never shows up.
Red Flag number 7- Turkey is still here when I get back from my trip.  The owner is surprised on the phone that baby daddy's daddy didn't pick him up last Friday.   Yeah, right.

So it looks like Turkey belongs to me.
His owner is going to be surprised when her paycheck is garnished for for 4 times the amount it would have been, by the time she pays all the boarding fees. And the bad check charge.  And still has no dog.

The moral of this story-

Don't mess with Mother Nature.
 or Dr. Mathis.
He has very low tolerance for such shenanigans.

If anyone close is interested in adopting Turkey, get in touch with me. Not just plain Turkey either. Turkey Dalton.

He's adorable!! Congrats Michele, you're the new mama? Andy, you are an angel. I had the best dog in the world, named Turkey because I picked him up in front of Target on black Friday - the store clerks kept carrying him out, he kept running back in. I carried him to the car:-) He was part of our family for 14yrs.

Oh I can just picture your Turkey running into Target every time the door opened. . . haha.

Sort of like a Marley and Me moment.

Yes, he was very special. Kinda like Marley - Except he never did anything naughty - no chewing, no jumping, no digging up flowers:-) ever. He was so happy to be loved. I miss him so.

I will never understand people. Having worked in retail for years (and years), I've heard every lie there is. At least I was only dealing with clothes. Dealing with actual lives is an entirely different ball game. Good for you, Andy.

did u give him that funny name or did he already have it?

i know he'll find a great home soon-

No, That is his name.

I did find out, though, that Dalton is the last name of the Grandmother who gave the dog to Deadbeat Granddaughter. So that is where it came from.
